I watched the Sky at Night around the time of the lunar eclipse in the UK a few weeks ago, and I liked some of the moon scientist faces when they were explaining things about the moon.

I like the juxtaposition of the strongly focused face in the middle with the changing faces in either side.
Nice colors, too.
Thank you Julie.
I went a bit nuts and used chalky pastel and oil pastel and biro and pencil and coloured pencil and gouache and acrylics.
And I drew most of it this afternoon while watching the Last Mimzy.
Love it!
I especially like the freedom and looseness of your lines. Every time I see one of your drawings I'm reminded of my own uptight style and my inability to loosen up and let go a bit. I'll continue to come here and learn!
Cheers,

Looks great!
Every Thursday I have to run an art class for my students, they're only wee little things but I get a bit too serious about it. I keep trying to get them to use pastels on coloured paper, and just be really free, don't use pencils first or anything like that, but they hate it. They draw one line and then want to erase it, and when they do finally finish they want to use felt tip pens to colour it in! Yucky!
Coloured paper and oil pastels is definitely the way to go.
