Men and their Heads and my Line Frenzy

Here are some pictures that say unto you that I still draw wrestler heads.

This one's from ages ago. I did it whilst watching a whole episode of What's New Scooby Doo, which isn't a very good thing. But I wanted to know who did it.

And these were done in preparation for an illustration that ultimately went in a letter to Mick Foley, illustrating my concerns about how John Cena might respond to my depictions of him.

And this is a video of a caricaturist called John Kascht drawing Rudy Guiliani. I liked watching him draw and his descriptions are as eloquent as his drawings. It made me realise I draw in quite a frenzied way... professionals are smooth. There's a link to his other videos drawing the other candidates on the right.

Plush Brush Mush

I've been easing myself back into oil painting, and simultaneously back into things feminine. With some paintings of soft fluffy ladies.

I've got much more into the mindset of 'let's see how much painting I can do in a day'... I think I'm much less long-winded than I used to be. But I still have to hone my technique if I want my next major paintings to be perfect distillations of my thought.

I was listening to a lot of Old Time Radio while painting this, Dragnet and The Whistler...

I Make Your Ankle Hurt

Randy is more advanced than Kurt, in the sense of being further along the line of my understanding his face.

Kurt looks slightly feminised and slightly baby-like in my pictures. He’s all tender round the edges for the time being.

More dragon.

Primitive Kurt Angle studies. He has some whopping big expressive blue eyes, I do not have a handle on them yet.

There’s a tender little oil painting based on wrestling.

Not feeling too texty tonight. Have a look at my texty blog if you want text. I done plenty.

Bye bye,

Love from Chloe.
