Stripeless Tigers

I think this might be my 200th post! I suppose that means I've done a lot of drawings over the last couple of years. 4 years?





This is a step on the way to combining pure shape-excitement with intensity picture-excitement. What I like just now best is pure pencil, or pure watercolour... other things complicate my thinking unnecessarily. I don't need those extra textures... I need to think in pure pictures. Form dealt with first, then colour in a way where it's doable.
